Things to do

The mountain and the forest take turns depending on the season. Here are the places we use the most — from the trail right outside the door to the lake where the trout bite best in summer.

Winter

The ski lift at Golsfjellet

The slope has short lifts and an easy pace — good for beginners and for anyone who just wants a few runs before a hot drink at the lodge.

Winter

The cross-country trail from the yard

The trail starts right outside and continues into Golsfjellet. Put the children on the kick sled, or walk it alone in the quiet before breakfast.

Summer

Fishing at Storlivannet

The lake lies still among the pine forest, and the trout bite best early morning or at dusk. Bring a rod and a flask.

Walk

Forest walks behind the cabin

The path leads straight into the forest behind the knoll, past bogs and old logging roads. No signs to follow — just turn back when you are ready.
